With the Museum Building Guides series, Ediciones Polígrafa tries to cover the editorial existing gap on this renowned typology of buildings. These guides do not fit the model that may be expected from such a publication, which usually focuses on museum collections and institutional activities: they are going to be small monographies on the architectural characteristics of museums; the building exhibiting the art collections is going to be now the main protagonist. Each volume will contain an introduction, an interview with the architect, detailed plans with graphic scale and a photographic essay by a well known photographer. All the titles are being published both in English and the country’s museum language.
